acidbottle Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 Hello, im thinking of purchasing some regional areas and 1 or 2 airports in each. I already have Global and was interest in AU SP4 with Alice Springs. However, I notice from videos and screenshots that Alice Springs has a nice deep red rock colour which I like, however in Global the area around the airport seems more washed out, almost green/yellow in colour. My basic question is, if I purchase AU, will the red sand/desert detail be more prominent than it is in global? dominique Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 I have Alice in AU with FSX (that I don't use anymore). I was not shocked by any coloring gap between both. The ground textures look, of course, more real in "fat" YBAS than in generic AU but the transition is very palatable IMO. I miss Alice in P3D and hope to see it soon converted !
