KevinJH
This morning I completed a flight from St. Mary's, Scilly Isles over to Perranporth (EGHE - EGTP) in the fabulous C177RG. The flight should never have taken place as departed in winds of 35kts and landed with mere 25kt blasts - but who cares, with no a/p it was all hands to the pumps - well, mine anyway - in this lovely 'plane This shot belies just how flippin' windy it was..... Passing the Wolf Rock lighthouse "I see no ships !" (no, of course you didn't - they had more sense and stayed in port !!) Just coming to St. Agnes, lining up approach Change of plan; change of runway as the wind's veered.... And down in one piece. Wiped the sweat from brow and taxiing in then it's off down the pub All straight out of the box. Thanks for looking
