This morning I completed a flight from St. Mary's, Scilly Isles over to Perranporth (EGHE - EGTP) in the fabulous C177RG.  The flight should never have taken place as departed in winds of 35kts and landed with mere 25kt blasts - but who cares, with no a/p it was all hands to the pumps - well, mine anyway - in this lovely 'plane  :)

 

This shot belies just how flippin' windy it was.....

Passing the Wolf Rock lighthouse "I see no ships !" (no, of course you didn't - they had more sense and stayed in port !!)

And down in one piece. Wiped the sweat from brow and taxiing in then it's off down the pub   :)
