A new photo real scenery has been launched by a very small firm called Earth Simulations and their first offering is a jewel. Its of Alderney, probably the smallest of the Channel Islands group of the UK. Its unique in that it stays in focus, has seasons and 3D and, wonder of wonders, doesn't play havoc with your frame rates! Anyway, back in Australia, I was supposed to be on the next leg of my journey round Australia, this time from Port Pirie to Adelaide. However, on my way I couldn't resist dropping in for lunch to the Ardrossan Mine by OZx. For once the navigation was easy, it's almost due south of Port Pirie and if you keep to the line you can't miss it; There it is.
