puclot Posted December 28, 2014 Share Posted December 28, 2014 i an new to FSX and downloaded the steam version few days back. bought the FTX NC add on and the installer asked to install the library files first. when i installed them, i get this message Simconnect dll missing. the message says that FSX may not work properly without it. on the next screen it said that flow object cannot be loaded and FSX will not work properly.i tried uninstall and reinstalling FSX but no luck. what shall i do now? i also have FSX gold on a DVD which i never opened. now i am thinking that shall i just install it from disc and forget about steam version for now as i dont know what will work and what will not work in steam due to this message.. please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Culley44 Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 skoop, i installed all 3 sim connects and fsuipc for the steam version,are you saying that you can install ftx global and vector without issue? did you not run the simobject.dll and updated the orbx libraries?
