Light pole flickering

Transparency AA (sparse grid super sampling AA) at 4x will fix this at the expense of performance. Depending on your GPU, its effect on performance can vary. Typically you need a very good GPU to run 4x SGSS

To put it into perspective, I have a GTX 770 running at 2560x1440 resolution and I only run 2x SGSS AA. My card cannot handle 4x when in clouds etc.

2x is better than nothing though. Give it a try.

GlennH, have you tried playing with "DSR"? Just started using it a couple of days ago and it makes huge difference in performance on cloudy days compared to using SGSS. It gives just as good AA as SGSS(maybe even better). Only downside is tiny fonts in the menus and ATC window.. My monitor runs at 1920x1200 so I don't now if it works for you, but it's worth a try.
