jbarryd
Hello,I've re-installed FSX after a complete re-install of Windows 7. FSX is on a separate SSD. FSX works fine, but when I try to install AUS SP4 or EUR LC (after installing Global) - FSX Central will not run, or rather, I get the message - FTX Central has stopped working. It does create the FSX Central Icon on the desktop. This is stumping me. The programs always worked fine before. On the latest try, I made sure there were no other add-ons installed except FSUIPC. I have Acceleration installed.Appreciate any help FTX OPEN LC EUROPE FSS0301346 and many others

Tim Harris
Hi Barry, Make sure to install the latest Orbxlibs after installing any orbx products, this ensures your FTXcentral and related tools, bug fixes, etc are all up to date Download from here: https://www.fullterrain.com/support#Orbxlibs
jbarryd
Thx Tim, Just did that and they install OK. But FTX Central just won't run. Maybe security/access problems on my disk drives? I don't know.
Tim Harris
What is the behavior when you double-click the FTXcentral icon? for example: does it start up but not show, or is it still giving the 'stopped working' message, another message or just nothing? jbarryd
The 'Stopped Working' message immediately shows and nothing else happens. Tried re-installing latest Framework 1.45 but that did not help. Seems to be a system problem, but I haven't had problems with anything else. Baran
I too am experiencing the same issue. I updated the ORBX Libraries FSX/P3Dv1 file with version 140927 hoping that would resolve the issue.... nothing changed.
Tim Harris
I'll ask Ed and the FTXcentral team to check on this,
jbarryd
Thank you Tim. I also tried installing an earlier version of the Libs I had on file and got the same thing. I'm really clueless. Can't really use any of my Orbx until I get it resolved. Stuff seems to install fine. But the Central program just won't run.
