Barry Meiklejohn Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 A friend of mine who owns a Mooney was visiting from Alice Springs yesterday. He happened to turn up when I was taking a flight around East Sale to look at some new landclass work. He was stunned by the textures (he has flown sims for a long time too - currently flying FS9 and VOZ). As he is an Adelaide boy, we went across to SA for some more aviating. With no prompting or maps he departs Adelaide, identifying all the major roads, parks, buildings in the CBD; then flew southeast to Gawler again naming little towns that were just dots on our placement maps. He navigated via the roads and ranges then flew WNW across St Vincents Gulf to Ardrossan. He has flown into Ardrossan and Minlaton in real life and could not believe it when he saw Marks work at both these places.
