Viking01 Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 When using KAPA I noticed that it sits on a plateau, AEC is disabled. If I enable AEC again, the runway is in a deep trench. So either way, the airport is at a wrong elevation. Anything I can do to solve that? Thanks for the wonderful freeware airports, when in Global I like to use them a lot!! Neil Hill Posted October 30, 2014 Share Posted October 30, 2014 Hi Snorre, I have AEC disabled but do not have Pilots 2010 mesh. For me it sits on a slight plateau but looks OK. I believe Todd used the default elevation and changing it is not feasible. I'd set AEC disabled and live with the plateau rather than in a trench. briansommers Posted June 10, 2016 Share Posted June 10, 2016 I have the same problem with p3d 3.2 I have disabled it and now I fall through to the bottom. it doesn't show the runway just the terminal areas, but its not solid. any ideas? Neil Hill Posted June 10, 2016 Share Posted June 10, 2016 Hi Brian, Hmmm....are you sure AEC is disabled? If you don't hit the "apply" button you don't get any changes.
