vgbaron
Title says it all. I am guessing that both products do essentially the same thing and that the answer is no but want to be sure. Thanx, Vic
Alex Goff
Hi Vic, OpenLC and UTX perform different functions, although they do have some overlap. OpenLC handles landclass data which is the 1kmx1km tiles that display things like forests, farmland, cities, etc. UTX is primarily vector data and improves roads, rivers, streams, coastlines, railroads, and other similar features. UTX is more comparable to Vector than it is to OpenLC. They do overlap somewhat in that UTX has landclass elements but I believe if you place the entries beneath the OpenLC entries you will see OpenLC on top of the UTX landclass. However if you have Vector there will be conflicts with UTX as they perform the same functions.
