However just north of the where this airports scenery ends (about half way up the west shore of Lake Tahoe the trees change from pine/conifers to a broad leafed tree....I already have the California FTX and was wondering why the pine trees dont go all around the lake?? thanks for the reply Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Since the FTX regions are typically an approximation of what is really there, the landclass used around the lake may not use the most correct trees.
