What is ORBX Libraries?

The Orbxlibs are essential core files which all Orbx products use. You must install it, especially if you are using the freeware airport packs (you'll be missing all buildings and objetcs if you dont) and it is usually recommended to install it again after every new installation of an Orbx product.

You can grab it from here.

Oops Sorry Misha you were too quick simultaneous posting

Hello Aaron,

Orbx Libraries, or should I say having the latest version of Orbx Libraries, is the "single most important part of any Orbx installation", many Orbx titles originally came with an appropriate Orbx library version, but had to then be updated if another Orbx title happened to install an earlier version of these libraries.

Orbx is continually creating new library content and more optimised libraries, hence, the need to Install the latest Orbx Library version, making absolutely sure that all titles are obtaining the Library files that are the most up-to-date.

Orbx have shifted away from the included process, ( including Library files in individual new titles ) to obtaining the Latest Libs independently, thus insuring the user maintains the latest version. All Orbx installers will inform you of this and provide a link to the Latest version.

You can obtain the Latest Version for your particular sim by going here: https://www.fullterrain.com/support

Scroll down to the bottom of the support page from the above link, there are Library versions for FSX / P3Dv1x  and  P3Dv2x  choose the appropriate one for your sim, Download and install, it does not matter which Region FTXCentral is set when installing the Libraries but you will have to reset any FTX 3D lights setting as well as re initialise the FTXG Vector lights in FTXC and FTXG Lights Configuation panel once installed.

Hope this helps
