For all in the Seattle area, Flying Heritage Collection (at Paine Field [KPAE]) will be having its final fly-day of the season this Saturday, 13 Sep. We will be flying the B-25J Mitchell and the F6F Hellcat. Planes will fly at noon. At 11am, Chris Duffel will give a presentation called "From Flight Sim to a Pilot’s License". The flying viewing area next to taxiway A is free and open to the public. Normal admission rates apply to the collection itself and the presentation- this also lets you be right next to the planes when they start up and taxi out and there is nothing in the world like the sound of a two-stage supercharged Pratt & Whitney R-2800! :)
