Hi,

I would like to completely remove Prepar3D v2.2 and every single Orbx-related file. I am on my work computer and have installed: FTX Global Base, Vector, and freeware NA packs 1-7 and 13.

I already followed the instructions in these threads, which don't help:

http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/30378-uninstalling-all-orbx-products-a-quick-guide/

http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/63761-ftx-global-uninstaller/

http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/70953-how-to-uninstall-vector/

I have also searched my entire computer for "orbx" and deleted all files with orbx in the name. No help there.

What can I do?

Thanks.

If only it were that easy... It is on the same drive as my OS. Why is it so difficult to remove Orbx products? I like them, but they are like a virus when you try to get rid of them. This is extremely frustrating.

Run any remaining ORBX uninstalls you have in Windows Programs from the Control Panel, then manually delete all remaining ORBX files and folders, not forgetting the obscure places like App Data under Users.

Then run a good registry cleaner to remove any orphaned references to ORBX.

I use CCleaner, AM Registry Cleaner and Jet Registry Cleaner. I find one cleaner often does not find all the orphans. Make sure to backup the registry each time. Once everything is clean, use JRT Junkware Removal Tool to clean your drive, and Defrag. All the utilities I mentioned are free and have performed trouble free for me for years.

What do you mean by "remaining ORBX uninstalls"? I have never had any uninstallation EXEs of any kind on my system.

to me it looks like you are confusing a few things,

What am I confusing?
