RESOLVED Decompression error installing KBZN Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport

During the installation process I get the following error message when it arrives at the file fx_Orbx_YBUD_Beacon_Gr.fx

 

"A decompression error has occurred (#2026) - unknown decompression error"

 

I tried downloading the installation file multiple times and repeat the installation process but the issue remains

not sure what's gone wrong or where

please find attached the "missing" file

please unzipp and paste the content to your ....\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects folder and the try and run the installer again

fx_Orbx_YBUD_Beacon_Gr.zip

When copying the file you gave me I realized it was already there in the Effects folder.

 

This helped me figure out that KBZN airport is most probably reusing the same files fx_Orbx_YBUD_Beacon_Gr.fx and fx_Orbx_YBUD_Beacon_Wh.fx originally released with the YBUD airport, that I had already purchased in the past, and the installer was trying to overwrite these files in the Effects folder without having the rights to do so.

 

I let the KBZN installer ignore these 2 files and the installation got completed successfully.
