mazelda
Appologies for asking this but I'm not sure the best way to set this up I currently have global and all the extended scenery addon 's ie pnw,,sco eng etc And I'm planning on getting vector and Europe lc But in the control panel settings should I set the scenery to global if im flying around Europe and hybrid if I'm flying from Europe to say Scotland? Also although not part of Orbx I'm thinking of getting Pilots global 2010 ftx does this product do anything to the mesh in the extended sceneries or not? Or is the mesh in these areas better than that of pilots mesh Thanks for the advice on this

Can't answer the one about Pilots Global.
bdrichmond
Hi, Regarding the Pilot's mesh - if I understand your question correctly, you want to know if using Pilot's mesh will make a difference in the "extended sceneries" (full or fat regions?) such as the PNW and EU Scotland. These sceneries already have custom mesh, so they won't benefit much (if at all) from the Pilot's mesh. The Pilot's Global Mesh product does wonders for the REST of the world, including OpenLC though some people have problems with airports sitting on plateaus or in depressions. I had a few of these issues, but they were fixed by running Vector's AEC utility. Hope this helps a bit. Respectfully, Brian
mazelda
Many thanks Brian That's exactly what I wanted to know. I did have an idea that, that was the case with the sceneries so its nice to have it confirmed rgds Pete
