ACTIVE Mount Vesuvius looks terrible - OpenLC problem

I've got Global, vector, OpenLC EU and Pilots mesh FTX compatible installed and Mt Vesuvius looks pretty much like a round hill with a texture plastered onto it. Not sure where things went wrong. I've installed all 4 LC installers and gone through the docs on setting LC properly in the scenery library but still always the same result. Im running on 4 screens and the screenshot will exceed the 4mb limit unfortunately. Any help would be appreciated.

I think I found the problem while browsing the Pilot's website:

 

"In extremely rare cases scenery layer entries of FS Global products in FSX scenery library are mssing. This is NOT an installer issue, but seems to be connected with events, when a user installs/deinstalls FSX add-ons and/or moves/removes scenery layers in FSX scenery library in large numbers at a time. FSX then sometimes reverts to a default scenery.cfg, which no more hold FS Global scenery layers.

Fix (internet connection neccessary!): insert DVD1 of FS Global Ultimate - Asia/Oceania. Start windows explorer, change to the DVD drive and go the folder \FSX. Start pilots_001_setup.exe. It will ask you to allow an online update. Please allow it (VERY IMPORTANT!). You will then be asked, which FS Global version you want to install. Select the one, you wish to create scenery layers for from the drop down menu. Now select the target drive. This is the one, you previously installed the FS Global product to. Click INSTALL. Confirm the license agreement. Now it will ask, if you want to do a full install or scenery layers only. You know what to select! (Scenery layers only of course!). Click OK. That should do it.

Redo that for all the FS Global products you wish to install scenery layers for. Unfortunately you will have to accept online update EACH TIME (it is not saved). This is very important! Otherwise you will not have the choice of full install v scenery layers only!"

 

Apparently I'm one of the rare cases - Looks like at some point the entries for the FS global mesh and for Global vector were removed from my scenery config so I had to rerun the installer again and pick layers only and it was repaired. Also had to reinstall Global vector.....everything seems to be ok now but I'm wondering what else is missing from my scenery config.

if the layers were only missing in the library, why do not only manually insert them back without reinstalling everything?

In my scenery config file for Global, Vector and OpenLC including freeware global airports entries there is a "path not found" error so I'm not sure if these products are working correctly? But when I validate these entries through FTX central they validate with no errors. Should I flush the scenery library's?
