FTX Central

Hi everyone here in the Orbx forums!

I'm on my way to set up FS X from scratch after two year on editorial work and tetsing with the old installation. I hate this but someone has to do it ;-)

One problem I'm encoutnering one again knowing this issue from before:

FTX Central obvious isn't working correctly because while to be opened from an Orbx installer it hangs itself up in this stage...

FTXCentral.jpg

It is in the task list of my Windows 7 64 Bit but with no action at zero percent. It cannot be closed normally but must be killed with the task manager.

When I start FTX Central by double clicking it's icon it comes up correctly but trying to switch e.g. regions with it hangs itself up again - and must be killed with ttaks manager as before.

Installed is for now...

FS X

FS Global Ultimate (all regions)

FTX Global 1.20

FTX Vector 1.15

FTX openLC Europe

FTX Australia with SP3 (DVD) plus latest patch

...latest FTX Libraries

Can someone help me out here?

Thanks a whole lot in advance - all the very best for now!

Hello Wolter and Friedi!

Yes, I did this twice. But it remains - FTX Central hangs while I can see the "rotaing ring" of Windows and hear the beep.

I've dropped Ed a note - hope he can help finally.

Thanks again for your kind help!

Bert

Bert, searching back finds a few similar instances, but no solution.

Some more about your system?

Windows version (number, x64?, landguage and unicode settings, decimal delimeter).  UAC disabled?  Any antivirus?  Full admin priveleges?

Anything else you think might be relevant!?

Hello, could be the path to the registry?

in the central xml found a path to HKLM but i installed the FSX "only for me"

so the path should be HKLUser ?
