Francisco Blas
I am getting freezing when trying to land on RWY 26 at Sekiu. It happens approximately 30 feet before the edge of the runway. I also tried to do a flyby 100 feet above and get the same freezing of the sim. Just a note, I am using ASN. When I disable ASN, the freezing goes away. FTX Central set to North America. Any help will be appreciated.
Misha Cajic
Hi Francisco, What do you mean by freezing? Does the aircraft crash, or the sim? Or does it just lock up? Cheers
Francisco Blas
Hi Misha, It locks up, and FSX kicks me out. I don't have problems landing on the opposite end of the runway. It's like there's an invisible wall.
Misha Cajic
That's very strange, never heard this before, and this only happens with ASN enabled. This kind of behaviour might come about as a result of duplicate ADE files for 11S, so could you please search your entire FSX folder for 11S and post up a shot of the results? I can't recall if ASN adds these ADE files but I think I read about it. Cheers.
Francisco Blas
Hi Misha, I read that installing new scenery and starting FSX from a saved flight causes this weird issue. The solution was to start from a safe flight via the Trike, then change the aircraft. I apologize for the trouble.
