owd Posted July 8, 2014 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Back again with AI mystery. Have been flying North VFR since July 2nd starting at Montery (KMRY) with 12 stops at what should be busy strips. Sacramento (KSAC) and Lake Tahoe (KTVL) for example. Am now at Chico (KCIC). Have not seen any AI action anywhere, in flight or at the strips, nor heard any radio chatter. Have had traffic sliders up to 100% with no change. Have definitely waited long enough for AI to spawn. Get lots of AI if FTX Central set to Global and move outside of FTX NA areas with the regular FSX traffic enabled. Some info; Have FTX Central set to North America. Graham Eccleston Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 The FTX NA AI Traffic pack only covers the PNW and PFJ FTX regions plus a number of FTX airports outside those regions. KMRY has a separate traffic file using aircraft from the FTX NA AI traffic pack and that file should have been installed as part of the KMRY airport package.
