Double Bubble
Hi all, as I've just completed a comlete re-install of FSX with FTXG, FTXAU, VECTOR, FSGlobal2010, DX10 fixer and all associated patch's it is time to move forward, I would like to install the FTXG freeware airports package No.1 which I think includes packs 1 to 7? am I correct? if so which region or regions is recommended to display the airports correctly. Cheers Rod.
bdrichmond
Greetings Rod, If I understand your question correctly, you want to know which region to set in FTX Central in order to display the freeware airports correctly. If that is correct, then choose FTX Global as most, if not all those freeware airports are in North America and designed for use in FTX Global. Respectfully, Brian
Neil Hill
Hi Rod, Brian's correct, for the freeware FTXG airports you only need Global for them to look correct. For the payware airports you would need the region they are associated with. Don't forget to run the Vector configuration tool after adding the FTXG airports as some will require elevation adjustments. Cheers, Neil
