Diofantos
After installing the FTX Iceland Demo I can't run Prepar3d v2.2. I get the error "Prepar3d cannot run without a valid senery.cfg" Does anyone know what changes the Iceland demo do to scenery.cfg?
Wolter van der Spoel
Did you install the "ON" or the "OFF" version of the Iceland Demo ? as you already have FTX Global installed you should select the "ON" version, not sure what the effects would be when you install the "OFF" version. Diofantos
I installed the "ON" version, unless the download link is incorrect. The installer is also named "Orbx FTXGlobal ON Iceland Demo", so it seems to be the right one.
Wolter van der Spoel
OK, next thing to do is delete the scenery.cfg all together from your system, don't worry, it should "automagically" rebuild a new one Go to C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 and delete the scenery.cfg Go to C:\Users\~your username~\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 and delete the scenery.cfg set FTX Central to FTX Global and hit Apply open the FTX Vector Configurator and run the Auto configuration, when done hit apply and exit fire up P3D and it should rebuild the scenery Dbase
Diofantos
Thanks! I can start the sim now, but now I have another problem wish i think is caused by terrain.cfg: When I installed the Iceland demo I also got an error with FTX Central that the [LandClasses] section was missing in terrain.cfg. I thought I had solved that error by copying the LandClasses section from the original file, but water have turned into desert and parts of the runways are missing.
