When applying a dot of thermal compound to my CPU and placing the NHD14 atop it, I find it incredibly hard to get the cooler to disperse the compound evenly across the entire chip due to the paste's high viscosity. Already went through cleaning the chip with a paper towel and 91% rubbing alcohol after my first attempt at this!
