Patrick Scharnowski Posted February 11, 2009 Share Posted February 11, 2009 About 20 minutes after leaving Argyle I decided to take a few shots. Here's the result: Following Ord River near Kununurra. Flying over Ivanhoe Road. In the background you can see the town of Kununurra. Agriculture and green fields line the river in this otherwise pretty dry environment. Approaching False House Roof Hill. I spotted the Carlton Hill Station airstrip... ...and fly a right turn over False House Roof Hill. Buzzing the field to check out the windsock and strip condition. On final, landing and parking. The trip continues: following a dirt road towards Emma Gorge. Checking the windsock. Gibb River Wyndham Road. Making a short stop at the Emma Gorge airfield. Someone's getting cocky now: making an Immelmann Turn (or Hammerhead Turn, as it's called today) directly after take-off: Buzzing some buildings at low altitude after the Immelmann.
