Heronjr Posted April 12, 2014 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Hi, I am doing a quite big USA cross country in order to visit each and every FTX airport (freeware and payware). I use actual US Sectionals and fly VFR consulting those charts. In my old system I had FS Global 2010 + UTX and no problems as the charts objects were easily chased from the air. In my new system, I opted to use FTX Global + FTX Vector + FS Global 2010 FTX Upgraded and I had some trouble crossing New Mexico and West Texas. Please refer to KONM Socorro-NM Airport, take off North on the ONM VOR (116.8 ) direction and, over it, you can see that the Rio Grande River suddenly becomes narrow. At Hutchinson-TX, take off from KBGD (Hutchinson Co) and fly West to find the big Lake Meredith, which is depicted in a very modest size compared to the real one.
