ve2dgz Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 The freeware airports in P3dv2.1 are showing the windsock off by 90 deg. All default P3dv2.1 airports are showing the correct wind direction. Graham Eccleston Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 This was covered in the release notes for these airports and although there was an expectation that they would be fixed in P3D V2.1, they still do not work. For the default airports, the winsock is working correctly and behaving as it should (wind direction and speed); 3. For the ftx freeware airports in P3Dv2.1, the winsocks are also working BUT THEY ARE 90 degr out of phase of the correct wind direction. note: i have not read release notes for the freeware airports that indicate a problem with the winsock, please enlighten me.
