Jim F. Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 Hi, I just installed Win 7 pro 64bit and FSX to an SSD. To assess the FSX performance I downloaded and installed the PNW demo. When I click on "KHQM Control Panel" in the start menu and give permission to run I get the message "No configuration file specified." I click "OK" and the window closes and nothing further happens. Any ideas? Incidentally, KHQM looks great and, with very high settings, everything looks great and performance is silky smooth. I just have to slow down that traffic. Jim F. Jim F. Posted February 22, 2014 Author Share Posted February 22, 2014 Hi, All is well. I wasn't sure where I ran it from but after running from the Start menu, just now, everything works. Thanks! I had removed the desktop Shortcut. At this point I'm assuming that it must be run initially from outside FTXcentral in order to create the needed cfg. After all seemed well, I restored the Shortcut from the Recycle bin and noted some arguments in its Properties that I didn't see in those of the Start menu shortcut, so I'm not sure just what's up.
