mrjamierocks
I read a post about if someone could fly over their farm, it was not to be,but what about towns, small towns, the ones with 10000 population and smaller, will they be photo realistic. The reason I ask is cause I live in one and would orbasm if I could find my street. Looking forward to the release
Barry Meiklejohn
Well thank god you won't have to orBasm Jamie. Orbx is using real aerial photos to create the textures we will see in FTX. However the landclass (or depiction of towns, crops, bush etc) will still be synthetic - that is it will call the textures that have been created for that 'class' of land. Ergo you will not see your own street. There are Photoreal projects for FSX, however they consume gigabytes of storage and have very rudimentary autogen (the trees, buildings, objects we see on the textures).
