Salty57 Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 I also have experienced many terrain spikes close to Grand Junction, Colorado Walker airport. I also have experienced some spikes, although fewer, about 25 or 30 miles out , on approach to Grand Junction airport, coming from Moab Utah. At Grand Junction, the spikes were so plentiful and close packed that I hit one at 3000 AGL and it acted as if I had hit the ground.
