rwiebe
Recently installed pnw blue on my computer. First, every time I click on FTX central the box would you like this program to make changes to this computer pops up. Also when I try to apply the scenery an error comes up saying Unhandled exception has occured in your application, could not find part of the path C:/Program files (x86)/Microsoft games/ Microsoft flight simulator X/ORBX/scripits/backup/default.xml'. When I click details this is what comes up...don't know if this helps... See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\default.xml'. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite) at System.IO.File.Copy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite) at FTXCentral.FTX_Environment.CopyBuildRestoreBat() at FTXCentral.FTX_Environment.ApplyRegionChanges() at FTXCentral.FTXC.Apply() at FTXCentral.FTXC.lblApplyButton_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Label.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5472 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) ---------------------------------------- FTXCentral Assembly Version: 1.0.2.8 Win32 Version: 1.0.2.8 I have windows 7 and Have fsx sp 1 and 2 installed. Ryan Mason
HI Kevin, The making changes windows warning probably means you still have your user account control set to max. As for the other problem, it indicates a conflict, just a few questions, is PNW the only region pack you have installed? and if so, have you run the latest Orbx libraries and PNW patch installers? rwiebe
Hi, yes pnw is the only one, and no I don't think I have installed the patches yet, i'll give that a go. Also, what did you mean by user account control set to max? Kevin
rwiebe
Hi I have just realised that to install the patch I have to first apply the FTX region which I can't do or it's just taking forever, Keving Tried installing the patch and I got the same messages as the first time, Kevin
