Alky
I can't afford FTX Global right now, maybe never I'm on a fixed income, but can I use the Global freeware airports or does it definately require Global? I looked at a number of threads but I didn't find a mention of it, perhaps I didn't look long enough. If there's a link to the answer, that would be fine. spud
Alky, Do you have any ORBX Regions installed? Without any regions an airport within a region probably would not look correct. There may be a problem with some airports without Global but Neil would be the authority on that. You can always download one pack and install it to see how they look, if not correct they can be deleted with no problems.
Dave_YVR
I don't think you'll have any issues at all without Global or any of the FTX regions installed. Most of the Global freeware airports are outside of FTX areas as it is.
Neil Hill
Hi Alky, My freeware FTXG airports will work with stock FSX but you will have to download the ORBX Libs as these are the objects I use when making them. I currently use FTX Global and Vector as the backdrop for these airports so they may not mesh perfectly into stock FSX backgrounds, but they should be close. Cheers, Neil
