rc3705
I recently purchased and installed FTX AU SP4. After installing yesterday, FTX Central kept giving me an "Unhandled Exception" error, when attempting to switch from Default to Australia. After reading some posts here, I tried the suggested fixes of installing the latest ORBXlibs and updating the Microsoft .net framework. These fixes didn't work so I uninstalled the product in accordance to the guide in the FAQ section (As I thought the issue may be due to a corrupt installation). After a full reinstall, the issue has not gone away, with the same "Unhandled Exception" error occuring. Note: I have not installed the recent AU patch (4.003), as I have not been able to get Central to set Australia as the region. This is the log file or the error: See the end of this message for details on invokingjust-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.************** Exception Text **************System.IO.IOException: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite) at System.IO.File.Copy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite) at FTXCentral.FTX_Environment.CopyBuildRestoreBat() at FTXCentral.FTX_Environment.ApplyRegionChanges() at FTXCentral.FTXC.Apply() at FTXCentral.FTXC.lblApplyButton_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Label.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)************** Loaded Assemblies **************mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5472 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400)----------------------------------------FTXCentral Assembly Version: 1.0.4.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.4.0----------------------------------------Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 8.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 8.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400)----------------------------------------System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5467 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400)----------------------------------------System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5468 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400)----------------------------------------System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5467 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400)----------------------------------------System.Runtime.Remoting Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400)----------------------------------------System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5476 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400)----------------------------------------System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5476 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400)----------------------------------------blvicuct Assembly Version: 1.0.4.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5467 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400)----------------------------------------System.Core Assembly Version: 3.5.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.5.30729.5420 built by: Win7SP1----------------------------------------ridqz60v Assembly Version: 1.0.4.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5467 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400)----------------------------------------************** JIT Debugging **************To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for thisapplication or computer (machine.config) must have thejitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. The application must also be compiled with debuggingenabled. For example:<configuration> <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" /></configuration>When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exceptionwill be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computerrather than be handled by this dialog box. Tim Harris
Hello, ************** Exception Text **************System.IO.IOException: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open. This indicates something within your system is preventing FTXcentral from operating correctly, usually antivirus or Windows security First thing I would try is a cold re-boot of the PC, then try deactivating your antivirus, CheersTim
rc3705
Hi Tim Thanks for your quick support. After adding FTX Central to the exception list on my AV program, it's working wonderfully! Regards Ryan
