skywreck Posted December 27, 2013 Share Posted December 27, 2013 After purchasing Global Vector, I removed all UTX versions from the sim, but after Vectors and updated libraries was installed, when opening FTX Central the following appeared on the Region Files Validation Report: Custom Files Validation Report FSX file does not exist. CXA001 Posted December 27, 2013 Share Posted December 27, 2013 I am having the same issue here as well. Check my FTX backups and did not find the BridgeRoads.dds file. However as I backed up my FS PC before installing Vector, I was able to restore the missing file, but I guess it is a bug as it disappeared in the first place. John Haley Posted December 27, 2013 Share Posted December 27, 2013 Why did you un-install UTX? If there are features that you still want to use, you will have to re-install the entire program. I think based on the number of early problems reported across the board, you may want to hold off on a complete deletion of a program. uragano Posted December 28, 2013 Share Posted December 28, 2013 Dear that was wrote in the past If you are removing UTX completely and not reinstalling it: Steps: (1) Make a copy of BridgeRoads.DDS and store it somewhere. You will find this file in the Scenery\Global\Texture folder. (2) Run the UTX uninstall process for the product in question. You should not have any issues. (3) Copy the BridgeRoads.DDS file from you backup location to the Scenery\Global\Texture folder.
