hansmathys
Something seems to be wrong with the runway lights of the new Paen Municipal Airport. The image below depicts Runway 19R. What could be the problem? hamathys

Russ White
Good news, nothing is wrong with your PAEN, the centre lights are just hovering effects (same with most Orbx airports) with no actual light in the runway as it's quite problematic to combine embedded surface lights with the glowing light effects. The edge lights are easier to do as the lights are not embedded into the surface but raised on stalks. If you notice i have done the green taxi way lights as proper embedded models but they dont emit a glowing light effect so cant be used for the runway centre as they would not be visible on approach. hansmathys
Thanks for your reply. It's obvious that the centre lights should be visible on approach. But the strong glowing light effects are quite disturbing when positioning the airplane - especially a small one - on the the centerline. Is there no way to eliminate the center lights? For the rest I like this beautiful scenery very much! hansmathys
Russ White
It is certainly an option i could add to the control panel if people would prefer to disable the centre line lights.
