boris4356 Posted December 21, 2013 Share Posted December 21, 2013 Hi Guys! I am seriously considering purchasing FTX Global, and FTX Vector, so I downloaded the Iceland demo to try out. It looks absolutely gorgeous as expected! I am currently flying in Africa, and then Asia and South America. Since it will be quite awhile before Open LC is available for these areas, I disabled the two Open Landclass files in the scenery library to see how FTX Global would look without Open Landclass and with Scenery Tech Europe Landclass. I really love the way FTX Global renders rock on the mountains, but I get square textures on the land with FTX Global when Open LC is disabled instead of the blended diffused textures I get in GEX. Snow patches were also rendered with the same squared textures. I haven't seen this in any screenshots of FTX Global, so I am wondering if after I purchase FTX Global and delete GEX, will I have blended difused textures in FTX Global? After looking at all the screenshots of FTX Global in the screenshot forum last night at work, I decided to purchase anyway. Hopefully I won't have any issues.
