ACTIVE scenery adjustments

Hi

I have  the PNW scenery  and decided to download the free Bowerman Scenery but I have a couple of small problems just wondered if anyone can advise on a fix?

I have fsx global set at hybrid.

When I use Bowerman KHQM the airport levels have big depressions around the grass areas of the runway and the static aircraft sit about 20feet in the air. I also have a problem with grass and some lights showing through the runway textures .

I have the airport set to a higher level than the pnw scenery in fsx scenery config, any ideas on a fix thanks

Most likely you need to install the PNW 005 patch, you can check in FTX Central under Tools > Reports > Installed FTX products, you should see "FTX NA PNW PACIFIC NORTHWEST V1.0 PATCH 005 March 27th 2012" if you have the patch installed. If you're seeing anything else there you can get the patch from the link below, make sure you set FTX Central to North America before you install it.

Hi mazelda,

 

If you set FTX Central to "Hybrid" you will not activate the elevation adjustment that KHQM needs.  Please set FTX Central to North America to see KHQM correctly.

Sorry to breake the thread, but is it also the solution for Yours (Neil)  FreeWare Airports.

I have some elevations issues there.

got it to work, but only after lowering it in the scenery library to below the PNW scenery is this correct?

I also should have said but I was already running the pnw 005 patch
