This is going to be the future look of P3D and FSX, and it's not too bad. FTXGlobal, OpenLC, Vector and Global Mesh, will produce something approaching a full Orbx Region, what does this mean? Within a couple of years (see roadmap), the rest of the world will come up to a very high standard, the impact of Vector is huge. For me, Japan and South America, which were unlikely to be "Regionised" any time soon. Scenery developers will start to adjust and fill in the airports, Orbx will be producing airports ie Narvik. Will this lead to fewer Orbx regions, perhaps. This may explain why Norway is not on the roadmap, Norway to the new standard ie Iceland, will look pretty good. I can hardly wait to see Northern Canada, ie something that looks like tundra (no trees). Will there still be room for regions, absolutely, Northern (and Southern) California, should be outstanding.
