mnowinski
Last night I purchased and installed FTX Global. Awesome! I was doing a test flight from KVNY - Van Nuys, CA, an airport where I had made previous changes to the FSX "default" ADE airport file. After placing the aircraft at an airport location where I had added a hangar, I noticed everything was different. The ground layout in that area had been modified. I did some research and found this directory: E:\FSX\ORBX\FTX_GLOBAL\FTX_FTXG_AIRPORTS\Scenery which contains a number of airport files, including KVNY. These files override my earlier airport files. I was under the impression that FTX Global itself, did not change any of the airport files. If it did, is there a list of changed airports available anywhere? mnowinski
I just realized I have the FTX Global NA Airports Packs 1 & 2 add-ons installed and that might be what's adding the airports. Apologies if this is the case.
Tim Harris
The product 'FTX-Global' does not contain airport modifications, but the freeware airport upgrade packages do (of course) For a list of what was included, check the announcement threads: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/65057-ftx-global-freeware-airports-na-pack-1/ http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/65742-ftx-global-freeware-airports-na-pack-2/ http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/66203-ftx-global-freeware-airports-na-pack-3/
