simmerhead2
Just landed in Antarctica, NZPG, and was surrounded by trees... Is this an accidental texture/lanclass error, or an unavoidable side effect of FTX Global?
jd_jay
someone will probably help out with a more technical answer, but at a guess it would be an FSX thing, and not FTX Global. FTX Global being a texture replacement, FSX will still call up for certain textures and and autogen, can you remember what it was like before FTX Global? simmerhead2
Yep, there were zero trees before - just like in real life.

GUIBRU
Affirmative there have been never trees in Antartica on fsx by default. It is a problem of global FTX. For example there are trees in Greenland. Impossible!!!

Guest
Antartica landclass uses tag "LandClassPoly_barren_toundra" which contains trees if using on a large surface. I experienced that when I built my Jan Mayen Scenery. I add an exclude area for trees
