Rob Greaves
I have run the DVD, decompressed it all, and eventually I am brought to the 'FTX Central' program. When I click FTX Central to set 'Australia' as the region, and hitting apply, I get this error: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\FSX\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\BLDG2.dds' The install directory seems correct as this is where my FSX lives. However, browsing the folders (with show hidden files 'on'), I can see C:\FSX\ORBX\Scripts, but there is not 'Backup' folder and no signs of the file that is causing it to crash. I have tried hitting 'Continue' anyway, to ignore the error, but it seems the scenery is not visible when I run FSX. I am running an i7 PC with Win 7. Everything is run as 'Admin'. My FSX folder is in the root directory of my C: drive (as the path above shows). Any ideas? Thanks - Rob
Rob Greaves
Also... the error aside, when 'Applying' the region? How long should it take? Mine has been going over half an hour and I still have the blue rotating 'working' mouse cursor circle...

neilfly
Not sure, If you figured this one out mate, I had the same problem and found the fix. For anyone who finds this thread and has this problem. All you need to do is download the latest Orbx libraries and your problem should be solved. http://www.fullterrain.com/support.html#orbxlibs Neil.
