Poova
Anytime that I run FTX Central to change or reapply regions, the next time that I run FSX I will get this error: "SCENERY.CFG file error. Invalid Remote scenery path in scenery Area.253. Click OK to continue." When I examine the Scenery Library, the entry between ORBX!OPENLC_BASE and FTXAA_AIRPORTS is blank. When I delete that entry, FSX will run without an error. I also noticed that the scenery library entry for KHQM (Bowerman) was missing. I added KHQM back to the scenery library. As long as I don't run FTX Central, I won't get the error on running FSX and the entry for KHQM will stay in the scenery library. When I run FTX Central, the entry for KHQM will disappear and I will get the error when I run FSX. I also have a parallel installation of P3D with all of the same scenery and I never have this problem after running FTX Central P3D in Prepar3D. The KHQM entry is intact between KJAC and KORS. I have reinstalled KHQM into FSX with no change in the weird behavior. How can I fix this problem? Thanks, Scott
Tim Harris
Hi Scott, The first error message regards a scenery you may have had installed at some point, but later removed the folder... however the entry still remains in the scenery library, simple fix is to just delete the entry KHQM: browse to FSX/ORBX/Scripts and look for scenerylib_US_KHQM.cfg this is the file that ensures Bowerman is added to the scenery library for you

The file scenerylib_US_KHQM.cfg was in the correct directory but when I edited the .cfg file, the actual file was empty. I used the scenerylib_US_KJAC.cfg file as a template and recreated the scenerylib_US_KHQM.cfg file. I added KHQM back to my scenery library and now BOTH problems are fixed. No SCENERY.CFG file errors, no disappearing KHQM. Many Thanks!!! Scott
