hkterry
Dear Simmer Friends, On 31-8-2013 through the internet I downloaded the Orbx FTX Scotland and Northern Ireland from FlightSim Store, the Order No. is FSS0231034. For both products the installation ran so smoothly till completion. But when I checked from the ORBX Central I could not find the Scotland there. Moreover no documents about Scotland was found in any directory in my computer. Then I ran the FSX and from the Scenery Library, I found the following area missing. 1. FTX_EU_SCO_05_SCENERY 2. FTX_EU_SCO_06_CVX 3. FTX_EU_SCO_07_MESH 4. FTX_EU_SCO_08_CUSTOM 5. FTX_EU_NIR_07_MESH Would anyone please advise how to solve this. Many thanks. Paul Webster
Hi, Where is FSX installed (full path)? How much free space on the drive? In you FSX folder is there a folder called ORBX? If yes what folders are in "FSX\ORBX\FTX_EU\" you won't have a "FTX_EU_NIR_07_MESH" folder as Northern Ireland doesn't have a mesh. Paul
hkterry
Dear Paul Thanks for the quick response. My answer to your questions are as follows: 1. Full path of FSX is Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X ; 2. About 7 GB free space in C Drive (SSD) : 3. There is an ORBX sub-flolder under FSX Folder , but in "FSX\ORBX\FTX_EU\" only the following files FTX_AA_EGFF FTX_EU_ENG_05_SCENERY FTX_EU_ENG_06_CVX FTX_EU_ENG_07_MESH FTX_EU_ENG_08_CUSTOM FTX_EU_NIR_05_SCENERY FTX_EU_NIR_06_CVX FTX_EU_NIR_08_CUSTOM FTX_EU_WLS_05_SCENERY FTX_EU_WLS_06_CVX FTX_EU_WLS_07_MESH FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM You can see from above no Scotland files. 4. Noted with thanks, but I suggest to mention this in "Important Read Me!.txt" Terry Tsui from Hong Kong
Paul Webster
Hi, You don't have enough free space on the drive to install Scotland, you need around 10-12GB free to install it and then it will use aprox 5GB once installed. Free up some space then run the installer again. Paul
