Flashing black squares while flying with FTX Global (not DX10)

Hello,

Can somebody please help me here or post a link?

Sorry if this has been asked but I've done a bit of a search and can't find this exact problem. While I am flying black squares constantly flash on the ground below which is annoying. This happens on land and at sea.

It's only happened since installing FTX Global and I'm only using DX9.

Cheers

PS: This was the reason why I've asked about an uninstaller before it came out.

Cabnz,

Are you using a tweaked fsx.cfg

In particular, a bufferpools tweak.

If so, I would suggest locating tge file in Appdata and renaming or deleting it to allow fsx to build s new one.

If you have not already, HIMEMFIX = 1 is a worthwhile line to add.

Most of the other tweaks I would give a miss.

Do you have any other addons (non ORBx) for the specific arrear??

Edit: I have to correct Iain Routley: NOT : HIMEMFIX = 1 is a worthwhile line to add.

Hi Ian,

Thank you for your reply. Yes I am using a tweaked fsx.cfg so I will look into that later tonight as I'm off to work soon.

Thanks again,

Craig
