stevefocus
Since I uninstalled all my FSX software and reinstalled it on its own ssd I have noticed my scenery not being loading properly. It seems to wait till I am really close before loading properly. Here is some screenshots. Hope someone can help i didn't notice before i moved all my flight sim stuff to the ssd. Alex Goff
Hi Steve, Is your LOD set out as far as it will go? You can try manually setting it higher in the fsx.cfg to try and force the sim to load scenery elements farther out. It can potentially stress your system and may cause out of memory errors but it can clear up close blurries
stevefocus
Yeah tried from 4.5 got all the way up to 15 before memory error, there was no change that I could see.
Wolter van der Spoel
do you have you Vidcard settings checked, are you using the nVidia Inspector applet? with such as system as you have the thing should fly with no hiccups. any updates for programs lately ? sometimes these can cause havoc as well although maybe not even related to fsX no other external applets for fsX running , weather proggies or such ? lthendrix
make sure nothing is running in the background .. we all suffer fro the pop every now and again fsx is a fickle friend for sure
stevefocus
Yeah vidcard settings checked not using inspector only just reinstalled all my fs stuff on to my new ssd the only externeal program was rex but had problems even with that disabled. I think the best soloution for me is to uninstall everything and then reinstall. That should fix the problem. In what order would you guys recommend I install my orbx products. Should i install rex before or after or will it not matter?

Wolter van der Spoel
this is what I use, make sure only Anisotropic is set and FPS is limited to 30 in fsX and mileage may vary from system to system
