Wolf2grey Posted August 29, 2013 Share Posted August 29, 2013 You would need EZ Scenery 2 or such software to change the .bgl files for stock FSX buildings, however if you are wanting to change an ORBX airport building or other payware building , a lot of those are in the .dds format and can be done with DXTBmp and Photoshop (or such software). It is a fairly drawn out process so I'd recommend doing a google search how to do it using these software packages. For ORBX airports or other payware buildings, you can google how to paint airplanes using DXTBmp and use the same instructions to paint an ORBX building or any payware airport that uses .dds files for buildings. NOTE: ORBX and/or Payware buildings are copyright so it would be for personal use ONLY. Here is a shot of one our buildings in ORBX scenery. It is a .dds file found in the CBB7 folder in ORBX scenery folder. PS....There is ALOT of trial and error doing this so do not get discouraged. It is a labor of love.....lol.......
