Double J
Suddenly my world has gone flat. 50% of the buildings that were once there now look like a google earth image. Haven't changed a thing in the scenery department. I was flying in New Zealand fore the first time when I thought things looked kind of flat so I went back to my home airport in Canada and it was missing a lot things that were there before. any ideas? I'm only running Global FTX no other scenery addons.
Tigerclaw
The first thing I'd check is the Autogen slider. FSX may have loaded settings from an old cfg file.
Double J
That was the first thing I checked..no change there.
Double J
Flying at CYYC and over the city seems as though a lot of buildings have no dimension. I am almost certain something has changed just in the last few hours of using FSX.
Double J
Sorry for posting a "newb" question..guess it was too much effort to provide a response. I found my answer.
Alex Goff
I don't believe there is an issue, the autogen buildings in your screenshots look correct in my eyes. It looks like the vector roads are just cutting through the autogen and preventing the buildings from popping up
Double J
No , my autogen density slider moved to the left in my cfg.
Ian Routley
OK Double J, I guess we probably did assume you has checked the autogen slider. Non-issue then.

Double J
You're welcome Thanks..but for some strange reason the slider and the value in the CFG didn't match when I checked. The slider was at 4 but the CFG value was 2.
Ian Routley
It is quite possible that you are looking at the wrong fsx.cfg file. The correct one is in C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
