derekG Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 Hi Guys, Purchased FTX England and FTX Wales DVDs at the same time. Installed England and happily flew around for a couple of weeks before getting around to installing Wales. After the Wales installation, FSX started loading and I got the messages saying it was loading new scenery databases etc. then it just stopped. Windows 7 task manager tells me "program not responding". I have since installed the 3 patches for England, the 2 patches for Wales and the orbxlibs 130723 file to no avail. I have also gone back to the "Default" set-up in FTX Central but still getting the same result (or non-result). I'm looking forward to loading up my newly purchased Australia SP4 download and thinking about getting FTX Scotland but need to fix this first. Any advice? Paul Webster Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 Hi, I have a few suggestions to try. 1. Rename Logbook.BIN to Logbook_DATE.BIN (found in My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\) 2. Rename your fsx.CFG to fsx_DATE.CFG (found in Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\) fsx will recreate those files with default settings do you use any other addons? do you run DX10?
