RESOLVED Just installed FTX Global - getting FTX Central Error

Getting the following error when starting FTX Central after installing Global:

 

 

 

I'm guessing this is happening because I moved my FSX folder yesterday. Everything else works fine though so I'm not sure why it's happening here. I used this method to move the folder:

When I tried copying the FTX Global files over to the new drive, I got an error saying some file in the FTX Central folder was missing. i can't reproduce that error anymore though so I can't screenshot it.

odd glitch,

please find attached the terrain.cfg file, unzipp in it's own folder and then copy the terrain.cfg file to your main fsX folder

Got this error after trying that:

Of course the file isn't found...I moved everything to the X:\ drive. However I can't figure out how to tell FTX Central to look in X:\ instead of C:\

Maybe you could use one of the registry  utility to check/correct  the  Microsoft Flight Simulator X path

yup, the registry entry is the culprit, well actually you did it yourself, so yes the toolies posted by our friend from Roma should solve your issue

Unfortunately I ended up doing a full reinstall of FSX before I saw this so I didn't get the chance to test. Hopefully this will be useful for someone else though. Thanks!
