Hi everybody,

and a lot of "Mercis" for the FAQ from Ian Routley !

I have recently  installed FSX 64bits with Windows 8 and a SSD 120 Go.

Before install the ORBX File  in the Main FSX i have installed all the 652 lines of my scenery.cfg

without FTX Central

No problem at this moment to work with my scenery.cfg.

Windows 8 accept to put the scenery cfg in the "Bloc-notes".

Hélas !!!

This time i have a big problem that i can't solved. It concerns  the following message :

"FTXConfigurator

"Failed to load scenery.cfg file: Error loading scenery.cfg"

After installation of FTX Central with Default FSX,or  Oceania, Europe, or North America no way to access at the scenery.cfg

On my SSD C:\ the ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX have :

Insertion Test .cfg

OldScenery.cfg    and

Scenery.cfg

Could you please explain to me what happens with the FSXCentral ?

Mille "mercis" for your help.

Christian

Hi Mister Wolter van der Spoel and merci for your help.

YES, i have installed the Library 150304

...but no way with the FTXCentral !

I have tried to apply the Default FSX and Oceania, Europe and North America but for each of the régions i receive the message:

"FTX Configurator

"Failed to load the scenery.cfg file: Error loading scenery.cfg

In the Tools folder looking at the Scenery Library Configuration I receive the same message

"failed to load ...."

Could you help me concerning the FTXCentral ?

Mille mercis d'avance.

Christian

Wolter, I have been happy to look at your post concerning the problem of MegaSceneryEarth. evocated by HannaHMae from the 18/jun 2013;

It says that the solution was to delete the fsX folder.

My FTXCentral is OK now!

I think that i have now a lot of work to remake more that 800 sceneries lines of my config.cfg.

It's a long way coming !!!

Sans rancune!
