FTX Central not changing regions

Recommended Posts

I have recently installed severaftx and non ftx products -  Soutnern Alaska. Moorabbin and Avalon airport and Tongass Fords.

Since FTX has not been applying regions correctly.

I get the following error message:

“Unhandled exception has occurred in your applic ation. If you click continue the application will ignore the error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit the application will close immediately.

The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.â€

When I  click on continue

FTXCentral just sits there. However after sometime the program is closed and then reopened the region attempting to apply appears as if it has been applied. When opening Flight Simulator  the region scenery does not appear correctly

I have attached the log report to this message in case anyone who can assist me needs the information.

I am not computer savvy and the brain does not works as it should. Dah.

Any assistance would be appreciatedd

Thanx Ted

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi there,

The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

This seems to indicate something is blocking FTXcentral from operating correctly, perhaps antivirus or another FSX related program that is 'holding' some files from being accessed

First thing I would try is a cold re-boot of the PC, then try de-activating antivirus,

Cheers

Tim
