Nick Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 Hey guys in the market for a new phone because my last smartphone has died i was tossing up between the iPhone and the Nokia E71 and by all accounts the E71 is ahead in almost all fields bar the display as such i was going for the E71 but i thought i would get an opinion from a community i completely trust. The only thing I think you are trading off really is touch screen interface and possibly the media interface is more clumsy than the iphone although you still have access to music/photos etc. When at home I make calls via VOIP through my wireless network - painless to setup and free calls Bluetooth for the car and voice tags make dialling easy. Very impressed how Nokia's PC Suite syncronised with my Outlook address book without any issues. I never used to text before this phone - too cumbersome, but the full keyboard makes this so simple and the interface is relatively intuitive. Purchased mine from an internet mob in Sydney, unlocked for approx $450 about two or three months ago. Just using with pre-paid. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
